I don't know what college you allegedly went to, but your your argument falls flat on its face - "the current understanding" is the opposite of what you claim it to be; to quote your own words, "this is just stupid talk on your part".

Ask someone mature at the Kingdom Hall to show you what the G.B says about Sodom & Gomorrah's resurrection hopes, and then come back and admit to everyone here that you were sadly mistaken!!

Then try to reconcile what the G.B. thinks, with what the Bible really teaches!!

Prediction or speculation? I speculate, no, I predict - doesn't matter - they're one and the same!! (ask a mature person)

As someone with a superior education (and attitude) to me, can you explain to me in simple language (so that I can easily understand ) exactly which part of the above quoted paragraph is NOT A PREDICTION?

End of discussion. Why? Because you nearly had me believing that you actually were an active Witness. However, your pompous and arrogant language, coupled with your downright refusal to acknowledge & read the Scriptures given, clearly show a smugness I've never encountered amongst any of my brothers & sisters. And yes, I am truly a serving brother who examines closely what is offered as "spiritual food". Clearly you don't - otherwise you would know that the thinking of the Governing Body (for many years) about Sodom & Gomorrah, is that those people will get a resurrection.

You just ain't up to speed are you? And you obviously never checked the CD ROM (if indeed you have one) to "test the inspired expression". If you do have one, research the false prediction I've given you. Also, the WTBTS is no longer registered with the U.N. - please check your information is bit more up to date!

Your lack of spiritualiy, humility, and Bible insight are what have exposed you asnot being what you claimed to be.

Final nail in the coffin - 1 Peter 4:17 - HELLO!!! - the judgement of God's House did not take place in 1919 - it is future.

Just read Revelation chapters 2 & 3 - it'll only take you about 15 mins. (that's if you've got a Bible!!)

You have a a similar reverence for the Governing Body as a sister I was speaking to recently. She adores them as much as you do. Christ is your leader, follow his direction. The countless failed predictions made by past and present Governing Bodies are there for all our brothers and sisters to see in the Watchtower CD ROM. You defend false reasonings which are mind-numbingly contradictory to God's Word, but stick with it - 1st Peter 4:17 is coming - it didn't happen in 1919. If you are happy "having your ears tickled" in your "spiritual paradise", then I genuinely fear for you, and all others who "get to believing the lie". (2 Thess. 2:11) I'll leave you with something to think about which is going over most of our fellow Witnesses' heads -

Virtually every change in the Organisation over the past 3-4 years has been financially motivated - e.g. the closures or "merging" of branch offices throughout Central America & Europe; the request to all congregations to send their surplus money to the Society; the "request" to congregations that they insure their Kingdom Halls through the Society and pay them the premiums; the sale of all the Brooklyn properties after all these years; sending brothers from the Society to Hedge Fund Seminars in London at a cost of several thousand dollars; the production of cheap quality paperback song books and Bibles (which fall apart after a few months); paying off pedophile victims with hundreds of thousands of dollars; and finally, reducing the Watchtower & Awake magazines from 32 pages to 16 pages each.

You'll know these sayings - "wake up and smell the coffee", and "if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck!!". How do you think all the Society's stocks & shares fared when the crisis hit 4 years ago?

p.s. Apart from the money problems, ask yourself why the GB sanctions the Society's participation at the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe seminars every year? Better still, why don't you ask your Branch Office! Quit touching the unclean thing; my kingdom is no part of this world....etc. etc.

A Circuit Overseer once told me, "If someone doesn't believe what 3 Scriptures say, then don't waste time trying to show them any more. Here are some more Scriptures which include Mark 3:35, to help show that you are both correct in what you are saying about Christ's brothers. Sadly, many resort to "LaLa time" when Scriptures disprove what they've been told.

("LaLa time" is what kids used to do when they didn't want to hear something - stick their index fingers in their ears and just keep repeating "LaLa" loudly!)

(Matthew 12:50) whoeverdoes the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."

(Matthew 13:38) The field is the world; as for the fine seed, these are the sonsof the kingdom;

To deny what these verses show, demonstrates two things about a person's thinking; 1) they are rejecting the blessing of the ransom sacrifice which makes them acceptable as a son of God & brother of Christ; 2) they are accepting as truth a "demon inspired expression" that only an elite "class" can be such.

We all address our Creator as Our Father, and the Scriptures above prove why!

You advise me to do research outwith the Society's CD ROM - How do you think I've learned of the untruths being conveyed worldwide by our literature - by testing with God's word.

All your answers are based 100% on what the so-called "slave" says. You offer nothing different.

You point-blank refuse to acknowledge that the "new scrolls" teaching is a cast iron lie.

You failed (conveniently) to see that the analogy of the Ferrari steering wheel highlighted that the teaching of blood fractions being "a matter of conscience" is nothing less than "the teachings of demons". (It helps with immunisations for travel to exotic Branches, though!!)

Also, by your being a contributor here, you are opposing TWO of the Governing Body's directives - not to go on websites such as this, and also, not to do research with othe Witnesses on deep Bible teachings and Society doctrines. (Kingdom Ministry Sept. 2007 -Question Box)

Just one little "insignificant" point - you casually dismiss (and justify) all the Society's wrong teachings, dates, etc. as being written by "imperfect" men at that point in time: consider this fact you know only too well - if you ever openly contradicted any of the current "thinking" by the GB, you would be viewed as an apostate! Therefore, their word is law and infallible in their eyes, and don't you forget it.

Read Romans 6:1-6, and then verses 8-11. These verses give you undeniable proof that Paul was speaking of a figurative dying to one's former course of conduct. It is ludicrous to even suggest that it refers to literally dying - otherwise, what's the point of the preaching work?

Read Clarke's Commentary on the Bible - even back in the mid 19th Century, Mr. Clarke saw what the Holy Spirit was saying regarding Romans 6:7.

I didn't expect any brothers to come back at me with all the teachings with which I'm not only familiar, but have come to know by Bible study are untruths. Here are some brief Scriptural explanations to respond to your "received" understandings.

1. The context of John 10:16 - If you read from John 9:40 onwards, you will find that Jesus was addressing the Pharisees and the Jews when he referred to "other sheep not of this fold". Hence Jesus' statements that he was "only sent to the lost sheep of Israel" and instructed his disciples to do the same.

2."New" Scrolls - The statement is a lie, as well as the "explanation" as to their reason!!

3.Romans 6:7 - Seven Scriptures state that Jesus is going to judge the living and the dead; Acts 10:42, Acts 17:31, Romans 14:9, 2 Cor. 5:10, 2 Tim. 4:1 & 1 Pet. 4:5, Revelation 11:18. If Adamic death wipes out people's sins, on what basis can Jesus now judge them? Jesus needn't have died for our sins if our physical death achieves the same result.

Why did Jesus when dying, promise only one of the criminals he would be in Paradise? If literal death really does wipe out sin, the other man automatically qualifies as well.

Romans 6:7 out of context, gives all unrepentant sinners automatic forgiveness, just because they have stopped breathing. So everyone who dies having rejected the good news, will now be resurrected to the reality of God's promised New Earth, never having exercised faith in the ransom or God's promises, thereby nullifying John 3:16, John 11:25, & John 17:3.

4. Partakers - The All Scripture book, under the section "LUKE", has this to say about him; "The Gospel of Luke was written by a man with a keen mind ..........with the guidance of God’s spirit..... has resulted in an account that is both accurate and full of warmth and feeling. In the opening verses, he says, "I resolved also, because I have traced all things from the start with accuracy, to write them in logical order to you." His detailed, meticulous presentation fully bears out this claim" . Contradicting this, the Insight book, under the heading "JUDAS", says that Luke (and the Holy Spirit) got it wrong; " Luke’s presentation of this incident evidently is not in strict chronological order". Why is it now wrong? Because his "meticulous"

accounttells an inconvenient truth - Judas was present for the New Covenant being revealed, and also partook of the emblems. He was dismissed after this and before Jesus concluded the covenant for a kingdom, for which NO emblems were employed. Read the account honestly!

5. Sodom - If you decide to do your own research, (in the CD ROM) you might be surprised to discover that 9 times the Society says the people of Sodom will be resurrected, and 5 times it says they won't. (the thinking changed from one to the other) If you read the Insight book's "insight", (under "Sodom" or "Gomorrah") it says that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, not the people!! Those fornicating streets & houses deserved what they got!!

6.Aliens not in the Covenant - Again, do your own research - nowhere in the Bible account of the events at Mount Sinai is there even a suggestion that the "vast mixed company" was separated from the Israelites when Moses mediated the Covenant. Read Exodus 24 - everyone was party to it. If those "aliens" were not viewed by Jehovah as His people and as Israelites, then the Messianic line was corrupted, because Rahab and Ruth were not "natural" Israelites, and yet they became ancestors of the greatest King/Priest the universe has known!!

7. 1st Peter 4:17 - If God's Judgement has already come upon His own household, (in 1919) then why does the Head of the Congregation, Christ Jesus, have any need to warn them about all their corrupt practices and wrongdoings? (Revelation chapters 2 & 3) Anyjudgement made by Christ will only come when he arrives to judge, and he hasn't arrived yet!!

8. When did Christ become King & High Priest?In 33CE, not 1914. Read Matthew 28:18, Ephesians 1:20,21 & Hebrews 8:1.

At Matthew 28:18 Jesus said that '"all" power and authority had been given him in heaven and on earth' - he couldn't receive any more!!!!

Reason on the Scriptures, and if they conflict with what literature claims is the "truth", then make your choice.

p.s. As a Christian, you would never dream of accepting a stolen Ferrari would you? But as a Ferrari lover, if the thief offered you the lovely wooden steering wheel from the stolen car, would you accept that?Read Leviticus 17:10-14.
